Pro-bono consulting at NC State
Consult Your Community at NC State (CYC) is a student-run nonprofit that organizes diverse student teams to solve problems for local business owners in the Raleigh area. Our pro-bono consulting practice is primarily focused on serving under-resourced women- and minority-owned small businesses and nonprofits through access to resources and services.
We work with small business and nonprofit owners in teams of four to five students with varied backgrounds and expertise. Each engagement regularly meets with their client to understand the areas of improvement and works throughout the semester on concrete deliverables.
We are dedicated to helping our community in any way we can, not only through our pro-bono consulting services. We partner with past clients and prospective clients to provide our members with volunteering opportunities every month. The varied ways we give back to our community increase our impact as passionate student leaders.

"CYC is family." We've built a supportive, passionate, and encouraging environment at NC State since 2016. Beyond consulting with real businesses, we provide our members with professional development, leadership opportunities, and social events that strengthening our team and drive for our work.
CYCCON 2018
CYC's first national conference was held at NC State! The conference celebrated CYC’s national success, brainstormed future growth, and hosted panels and networking opportunities from industry experts. Check out the recap video below!
